Located in a valley of unparalleled beauty, the 1000-acre Delphi estate is one of Ireland’s hidden treasures. Being surrounded by the tallest mountains in Connemara and overlooking a pretty lake, the historic Lodge is the perfect holiday hideaway.

With twelve lovely rooms, wonderful atmosphere, seriously good food and a wine list to die for, Delphi is a magical place to stay. Guests may walk the hills, fish the rivers and lakes or just indulge in the luxury and beauty of the surroundings.

Formerly the sporting lodge of the Marquis of Sligo, Delphi is wonderfully secluded, yet within easy striking distance of beautiful beaches, championship golf courses, horse riding and all the sights of Connemara and Mayo.

Delphi is special. It is emphatically not a hotel - it has no room service, bellhops, TVs or a la carte menus. It is a private country house of the highest quality, stylish yet informal, sophisticated yet relaxing. Everyone eats together at a huge oak table, presided over by the owner, Peter Mantle, or by the captor of the day’s biggest salmon. Conversation is lively and the atmosphere is akin to that of a private houseparty.

Turn north off N59, 2 miles east of Leenane. Continue towards Louisburgh for 6 miles. Delphi is in woods on the left, ½ mile after Spa.
