Mount House is a wonderful Georgian house lovingly refurbished to the highest standards and set amidst magnificent gardens. Originally part of the Coollattin Estate it offers the perfect environment to host a Dinner Party, Wedding, Golfing Holiday or Corporate Event.

Sit and enjoy a brandy in the drawing room in front of a roaring fire, read a book on the terrace, watch a movie on our home cinema system or take a stroll and enjoy the splendid 200 year old beech trees, rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias and rose garden ... and if you 're feeling a little more energetic why not enjoy a game of tennis, croquet on the lawn or a round of golf.

There are a number of excellent golf courses nearby:
Woodenbridge Golf Club (www.woodenbridgegolfclub.com) and Coollattin Golf Club (www.coollattingolfclub.ie) are both on the Mount House doorstep. Hill-Walking, Horse-Riding and Trout Fishing are all available locally.

The main house sleeps up to 10 with five doubles rooms (2 of which are en-suite rooms and 2 have shared bathrooms) as well as the ground floor shower room.

In the Courtyard the old Stable Building has 3 suites offering twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a cosy lounge area.

Sky TV and broadband are both available for those who just can’t leave the outside world behind!

We have a traditional kitchen with an Aga Cooker and modern facilities. It has a large seating area leading onto the terrace should you wish to prepare a casual meal for friends or family. Alternatively you can hire a chef to cater for larger groups in the 'Storehouse Party Room & Bar' which accommodates up to 50 people.
